(IsraelNN.com) French military commanders in Lebanon under the auspices of the UNIFIL force deployed as part of the UN-brokered cease-fire say they will shoot down Israeli planes if flights over Lebanese territory continue.

Defense Minister Amir Peretz confirmed the threats in his testimony to the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Monday.

The Defense Minister said, however, that Israel would continue to patrol the skies over Lebanon until United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 was fulfilled, saying such operations are critical for Israel's security.

Peretz also said that there was clear evidence that Syria was using the UN deployment as cover to transfer arms to Hizbullah.

Just one more piece of evidence at how badly not only was the "war" managed, but the UN Resolution as well.

In the end their will be Israeli and EU violence.
