(IsraelNN.com) Lebanon's senior Muslim cleric and Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah have accused the United States of trying "to sow strife among Muslims in more than one region of the Islamic world." Nasrallah met with Mohamed Fadlallah, who said in his weekly sermon that Lebanon is being put under "direct international tutelage" and is becoming an international protectorate.

Nasrallah reiterated claims that Hizbullah won the war against Israel this summer, and the two leaders accused the United Nations of not doing anything to stop what they called Israeli violations of Lebanon's sovereignty
