Peretz Calls on Army to Step Up Gaza Anti-Terror Activities 01:01 Oct 17, '06 / 25 Tishrei 5767(IsraelNN.com) Defense Minister Amir Peretz told the Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee on Monday that he has instructed the security establishment to step up counter-terror activities in Gaza.
The senior minister added that at present, he is not instructing the IDF to prepare for a major ground incursion into Gaza.
