(IsraelNN.com) Security officials Thursday revealed that a terrorist cell in Samaria received high quality explosives from the Gaza region in order to produce high quality suicide belts which had devastating potential. Jerusalem police last summer arrested the terrorist who was wearing the belt, Ashref Haled Hanani.

He had entered Jerusalem in an area where the separation barrier had not been completed but aroused the suspicion of police officers.

One of the cell's members had been arrested by the Palestinian Authority (PA), which released him when IDF forces entered the town where he was being held.
