Report: PA Receives Iranian Weapons Via Egyptian Port 18:10 Nov 05, '06 / 14 Cheshvan 5767

(IsraelNN.com) Palestinian Authority (PA) terrorists are receiving Iranian-made weapons transported by land from Sudan and then by ship to ports in Egypt, according to a Knesset Member quoted by Mideast Newsline.

"The weapons to the Palestinians are brought in through Egyptian ports and El Arish and are imported by land from Sudan," said MK Yuval Shteinitz, former head of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. He added, "There is no way that the Egyptian government is not colluding with the weapons shippers" because the weapons have to cross Egypt before reaching the Gaza border.

Shortly after last year's demolition of Jewish communities in Gush Katif and the handover of the land to the PA, the IDF also surrendered to Egypt authority to patrol the border with Egypt, which for decades has been the crossing point for terrorists, drugs and weapons.
