(IsraelNN.com) Sixty percent of would-be suicide bombers are stopped at checkpoints, where the government has told the IDF to conduct less thorough examinations, WorldNetDaily reported. Arabs, and several Israeli politicians, have charged that the examinations are humiliating and actually cause terrorists to stage attacks against Israel.

Senior IDF officers, including deputy Chief of Staff Moshe Kaplinsky, complained that the government's idea of removing 59 roadblocks in Judea and Samaria could result in more attacks, as has happened in the past following similar measures to ease travel restrictions.
