(IsraelNN.com) Bills Gates' replacement at Microsoft has said the quality of Israeli manpower is one of the reasons the firm is interested in buying up Israeli companies, he told Globes. Steve Ballmer stated, "Israel has top quality manpower and...we have seen a number of Israeli companies that we would be interested in acquiring.

Microsoft recently has acquired two Israel firms and retained the staff. "All this will help us expand, to a certain degree, our footprint in R&D in Israel," he added.
