U.S. Marine Corps Buys New Israeli 'Golan' Vehicles

(IsraelNN.com) The Rafael Armament Development Authority Ltd. has announced its sale of 60 Golan armored personnel carriers to the United States Marine Corps for $37 million.

The Golan is a new armored vehicle which can also be used as an ambulance, a command center or for intelligence-gathering purposes.

According to the Globes business news website, the U.S. intends to use the Golan armored vehicles for its military activities in Iraq and Afghanistan.
