Rice: ‘Hard Work Ahead’

(IsraelNN.com) There is hard work ahead for Israel and the Palestinian Authority, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice told reporters in Jerusalem Tuesday morning.

Rice expressed concern about the lack of movement in talks between Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and PA Chairman and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas. She urged the PA to end its terrorist attacks against Israel and called upon the Jewish State to resolve the issue of access between Gaza and other PA territories.

Confidence between the two parties has to be built, said Rice, adding that the benefits would be two-fold; a state for the PA and security for Israel.

It used to be that people that were this out of touch with reality were put in a mental institution and treated for their own good.

But today they are allowed to put Jewish lives at risk and even worse than this to put the future of the Jewish State at risk.
