IDF Nears Khan Yunis, Arrests Seven Suspects(IsraelNN.com) The army entered central Gaza and approached the city of Khan Yunis early Thursday morning to arrest seven suspected terrorists before withdrawing. The city is adjacent to the ruins of the Jewish community of Kfar Darom that was destroyed by the government in the expulsion two summers ago.
The Cabinet has rejected extensive ground counter-terrorist operations in the Gaza region.
