Sderot: Kassam hits apartment building

A Kassam rocket reportedly hit a four-story apartment building in Sderot Wednesday night. Several people were reportedly suffering from shock as a result, while another rocket hit a transformer, knocking out electricity in parts of the city.

Earlier in the day a 70-year-old Sderot woman was moderately to seriously wounded after three more Kassam rockets, in addition to 10 earlier in the day, were fired at the Negev town. One rocket reportedly scored a direct hit on a home.

Magen David Adom medics at the scene were also treating several residents who were suffering from shock. The elderly woman was evacuated to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.
