Funds Transfer to PA on Olmert-Abbas Agenda(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Ehud Olmert might agree to transfer tax revenue funds to the Palestinian Authority at his meeting with PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday.
Israel has been withholding the funds since the Hamas terror organization took control of the PA government in January 2006.
According to a Reuters news report, the prime minister may agree to transfer between $300 to $400 million to the PA.
Why.
When rockets are falling on Israel we would even think of giving these animals any money is beyond me.
What we should do is give them a bill for what our security cost Israel defending against terrorism in Gaza, Judea and Samaria (west bank). We then could tell them that the $400 million is just a down payment on what they owes Israel.
