Assad: Unconditional Talks Based on Golan Retreat(IsraelNN.com) Syrian President Bashar Assad told the Syrian Parliament Tuesday that he is ready for unconditional peace talks with Israel but stated his own condition that Israel surrender the strategic Golan Heights.
He said Israel must do more than "send messengers," as was done earlier this year when United States House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi visit Israel and then Syria. "This is not serious," Assad stated after being sworn in to his second term as President. "They must provide us with guarantees that all of the Golan will be returned'
He also revealed that another country is mediating between Israel and Syria. Observers said he might be referring to Turkey.
If Israel gives into the demands of Assad which he has been linking to a war if he doesn't get his way then it is all over for Israel. Their would be nothing left in terms of a fighting spirit in the country and I for one say let the leftist then try to fight for the country, they have not stepped up to the plate in years let them give away the country and see who is remaining that will fight for them, when the Arab hordes pour over our country from all sides.
The right has made up the majority of combat units for the last 10 plus years it is time to say, you want to give up our land then you fight for we are going to with hold our sons. Why should we risk our sons so the Cowards, Scum and Traitors in the Knesset can give away what our sons have bleed and died to hold onto.
