Shalit's Kidnappers Boast Israel Too Weak To Free Him(IsraelNN.com) Popular Resistance Committees terrorists who were among the kidnappers of IDF soldier Gilad Shalit have boasted that Israel is too weak to free him. Speaking with the Bethlehem-based Ma'an news agency, terrorist spokesman Abu Mujahid said "the group has struck a devastating blow to the Israeli intelligence and security bodies by managing to detain the soldier for over a year."
Abu Mujahid also addressed Shalit's family through the news agency, saying that they are "failing your son, you are failing your duties to him, you value human feelings, but your government ignores them and deserts your children in the middle of a battle without making any attempt to free them."
It is a sad day when I agree with terrorist.
The fact that our soldiers have been held for over a year brings shame to every member of Knesset.
The fact that the members of Knesset still prop up the Olmert government and have not resigned in mass from the Knesset, over this issue really shows what they think.
For many members of Knesset their children have either moved from Israel or they secure an exemption from the draft or failing that they end up in support roles rather than combat units.
These soldiers are my sons, and I would order the Chief of Staff of the IDF to return our soldiers, or resign.
Lastly any Prime Minister that allows Israeli soldiers to be held for so long and doesn't resign from the shame of it, has proven that he has resigned from Am Israel long ago.
