2 Pardoned Terrorists Arrested by IDF in Shechem(IsraelNN.com) Israeli soldiers arrested two Palestinian Authority terrorists in Shechem on Thursday, despite the terrorists having been granted amnesty as part of security concessions by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in talks a couple of months ago, according to PA sources quoted by Ynet.
The two men are senior members of the Al Aksa Martyrs Brigades terrorist organization sponsored by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah faction. They were arrested in the al-Ein neighborhood in Shechem.
It is time for Israel to revisit the issue of the death penalty. Part of me can understand the statement that Israel has wished to make by having the only execution in the history of the country was Eichmann, for the Holocaust has been a stand alone event in the history of the Jewish people.
However today we are facing once again an enemy that seeks nothing less than the destruction of Am Israel, thus sharing a common trait with the Nazis.
If the death penalty was good enough for a Nazi I feel the time has come for it to be good enough for Palestinian terrorist.
