Burg Says Does Not Believe in G-d, Explains Kippa

(IsraelNN.com) Former MK and Jewish Agency head Avraham Burg declared this week in an interview with Channel 1 TV that he does not believe that there is a G-d.

Asked why it is that he wears a kippa (Jewish head covering meant to indicate that there is One above), Burg said: “My kippa is an expression of my identity, my affiliation, to my world, but not necessarily affiliated with G-d.”

Former Shas chairman Aryeh Deri, on the same program, said he did not believe Burg’s statement’s about not believing in G-d.

After the Rabin killing I was involved with the body guarding of several different cabinet members.

The cabinet members that we protected all offered us food, coffee, cold drinks while we sat outside of their homes, that is except for one.

That one was Burg, who treated us with contempt.

I am not surprised to see Burg living in France and cutting ties with Israel and G-D.
