‘Syrian Response Will Come from Lebanon’

(IsraelNN.com) Reports in Syrian and Lebanese media early on Tuesday night stated that Syria’s response to an alleged IAF flyover and possible airstrike will be indirect. According to the Lebanese “Ya Libnan” radio station, the Syrian response will probably come from Lebanon.

The editor of the “Syria Today” daily newspaper agreed, saying “When the states of the region send a message to Israel, it passes through Lebanon’s mailbox.” According to IDF radio, Lebanese media sources claimed that IAF planes had flown over Hizbullah strongholds in southern Lebanon, creating a sonic boom as a warning to the terrorist group.
