Arab Child Sues State for NIS 4 Million(IsraelNN.com) An Arab child from the Shuafat neighborhood of Jerusalem is suing the state for more than four million shekels, claiming that border police officers acted recklessly and caused him severe injuries. The child, 10-year-old Almalek el-Zalbanani, said he stepped out of a neighbor’s home in February of 2006 and was hit by a sharp object thrown by nearby police, who were aiming at rioters standing approximately 250 meters away.
El-Zalbanani was taken to a nearby Israeli hospital, where doctors found that he was suffering from serious head injuries. He received extensive treatment in Hadassah Ein Karem and Hadassah Har Hatzofim hospitals, but despite treatment, remained severely handicapped. He and his parents are suing for medical costs, the cost of lost employment, and more, claiming that police could have prevented the incident had they been more careful.
I don't buy it, the kid more than likely was throwing stones at the Border Police.
I also think it should be against the law for Arabs to sue the State if they are injured or killed if the damages happened while Arabs were taking part in anti Israel demonstrations, terrorism or rioting.
Arabs, cause the problem and then they get to sue the Jewish State.
If the Arabs loose their case in the lower courts they then appeal it to the Arab loving, Jewish State hating Israeli Supreme Court will side with the Arabs.
We are our own worse enemies.
