Mortar Shells, Rocket Hit Western Negev

(IsraelNN.com) Arab terrorists fired several mortar shells in the area of the separation barrier in northern Gaza and exploded one Kassam rocket on Sderot Wednesday morning. No one was injured and no damage was reported.

The attacks came a short time before Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas began meeting with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in Jerusalem. Hamas has vowed to try to stonewall negotiations with Israel and block steps towards the planned international conference on the Middle East next month.
