PA Arabs Becoming More Religious(IsraelNN.com) Arabs in Judea and Samaria, who generally are less committed than Gaza Arabs to fundamental Muslim tenets, are becoming more religious, according to signs such as barring alcohol in Ramallah restaurants during the Muslim, holy month of Ramadan.
Reuters News Agency quoted one young woman who said her friends were astonished that she began fasting during the month, when religious Muslims eat only at night. The secular Fatah movement has been trying to reach out to religious Muslims, the mainstay of Hamas support. One restaurant owner in Ramallah said he stopped serving alcohol in Ramadan because of fears of violence by terrorists.
Dress also has become more moderate, with women sporting more veils and less skirts or sleeveless shirts.
Look for Hamas to take over in Judea and Samaria even with all the problems they have created for the Palestinians of Gaza since they have taken over the Strip.
I actually think the Hamas take over of the Palestinians is a great thing since the world fell in love with Fatah and refuses to understand that Fatah is still in the terror business and wants to destroy Israel as much as Hamas does.
Again repeat after me Fatah is Hamas and Hamas is Fatah from a Jews point of view. They both want me dead and the State of Israel destroyed.
