Release of 2,000 Terrorists Threatens Annapolis Summit

(IsraelNN.com) The Palestinian Authority (PA) repeated its insistence Monday that Israel release 2,000 terrorists before the planned Annapolis, Maryland conference, but a second coalition government partner has objected. Strategic Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman said that the proposed release would force his Israel Is Our Home (Yisrael Beiteinu) party to leave the government.

Shas party leader Eli Yishai made similar comments earlier in the day. Without the two parties, the Kadima government be left with a minority and would have to re-organize or call for new elections.

It is time for Shas and Israel Beiteinu to stop making noise about leaving the coalition and just leave the coalition and thus bring to an end the sad days of the Olmert government.

I always find it amazing that the Palestinians keep asking for more prior to any "peace" talks and Israel gives in and in return after the "peace" talks are completed is rewarded by even more terrorism.
