(IsraelNN.com) IDF spokesmen announced Wednesday afternoon that wanted terrorist Sami Zayoud was arrested overnight on Tuesday in a village northwest of Jenin. Zayoud was responsible for sending a car with a 400-kilogram bomb towards an Israeli city in 2002. Border police officers caught the would-be bomber near Givat Ada, and the bomb was safely dismantled.

Zayoud fought his captors and attempted to escape. Soldiers shot him in the neck before he could flee. Zayoud was taken to an Israeli hospital in serious condition.
