Report: US Funded Hamas School(IsraelNN.com) A report on the United States Agency for International Development has revealed that the the parent State Department transferred one million dollars to the Islamic University in Gaza between 2002 and 2006. Some of the money reached terrorist groups. The department continued to transfer money after Hamas won the Palestinian Authority elections in 2006, with both the State Department and the university management arguing that there was no connection between the school and local terrorist groups.
Mark Kirk, a Republican member of the US House of Representatives, was not satisfied with the State Department’s assurances, pointing out that Hamas head Ismail Haniyeh is among the university’s supporters and that PA forces found a large weapons stash inside the school earlier in the year. Following Kirk’s complaint, the State Department investigated the issue a second time and found that the US did not have sufficient control over the funds allocated to the Islamic University. Money sent to the university ended up in the hands of terrorist groups on at least two occasions, the report found.
The time has come for Israel to take a long hard look at what America has done to Israel i the last few years.
If we want to give benefit rather than doubt we maybe could say that at some point in time America really was atte, pting to hwlp Israel find "peace" with the Palestinians. But in light of years of terror, a true friend would have understood that "peace" was not an option and moved away from any efforts to force a comprimise.
But we see Israelis treated like Jim Crow was still the law of the land and then in the ultimate betrayal the National Intelligence Estimate which effectively reduced the chance of an American attack against Iran to zero.
Now once again American money reaches the hands of terrorist just as American provided weapons have done so many times before.
