Arab MK Seeks to Outlaw Public Cursing of Mohammed(IsraelNN.com) United Arab List Knesset Member Ibrahim Sarsur plans to introduce legislation that would outlaw cursing Mohammed in public.
Sarsur, an Islamist, said he was prompted to propose the law after Jewish soccer fans ridiculed Mohammed, considered a prophet in Islam, as a means of provoking their Arab opponents.
Cursing Mohammed in public and making offensive anti-Islamist remarks would be punishable by a three year jail term and a $25,000 fine if the law were to be passed.
If this is allowed to become law, it will show beyond any shadow of doubt how out of touch the members of Knesset really are.
My question is what constitutes an anti Islamic remark?
Does the following qualify, Islam is out to destroy Israel and murder 6,000,000 Jews. That under Islam I am to be forced into the status of a dhimmi and before I would ever submit I will curse Mohammed and Islam and fight to the death. Hopefully the death of our enemies but if it means my death, I will die rather than bend my knees to Mohammed or his followers.
