Give Them A State, Mr Bush

Puppet child on Hamas TV 'kills' US president

On show, child blames Bush, Israelis for killing his family in Iraq, Lebanon and Gaza, takes revenge by stabbing US president
Associated Press

In a Hamas TV production for Palestinian children, a puppet stabbed US President George Bush to death in revenge for American and Israeli actions.

The child, with tears in his voice, accuses Bush of killing his father in Iraq, his mother in Lebanon and his brothers and sisters in Gaza with the assistance of the Israelis.

The unnamed child tells Bush, "You are a criminal. You deprived me of everything." He adds, "I have to take my revenge with this sword of Islam." Bush, in a panic, pleads for his life: "I repent. Don't kill me."

He invites the child for talks in the White House, but the child counters that the White House has been turned into a mosque, and 'impure Bush' can't enter it. Then the child stabs him to death.

Terror Stops Here

Terror attack thwarted near West Bank settlement

Palestinian attempting to stab people standing at hitchhikers' station near Shiloh shot to death by Israeli citizen; 7.5-inch knife found on terrorist's body
Efrat Weiss

An Israeli citizen shot dead a Palestinian man who attempted to stab people standing at a hitchhikers station near the West Bank settlement of Shiloh on Monday evening.

The Magen David Adom emergency services, there were no Israeli casualties in the incident. A 20-centimeter (7.5-inch) knife was found on the terrorist's body, in addition to the knife he used to try and stab the citizens.

An initial IDF inquiry revealed that the Palestinian ran towards the hitchhikers' station in an attempt to stab two citizens standing there. One of the civilians pulled out his personal weapon, fired at the terrorist and killed him.

A police sapper examined the terrorist's body in order to rule out the presence of explosive devices.

Senior IDF officers told Ynet that the citizens acted as expected during the incident.

"An initial investigation revealed that the terrorist arrived in order to stab civilians. A citizen, believed to be a residents of (the settlement of) Ofra, shot the terrorist and killed him. Another knife was found on the terrorist's body in addition to the one he held as he tried to stab the citizens."

'Terrorist seemed nervous'

Colonel (res.) Moti Yogev, deputy mayor of the Binyamin Regional Council, told Ynet about the chain of events.

"An Ofra resident, in his thirties, returned from his workplace in (the settlement of) Itamar, got off at the Shiloh hitchhikers' station, where a 16-year-old boy was standing. Shortly afterwards, they were approached by the terrorist, who began talking to them in broken English, mixed with Hebrew and Arabic. He seemed nervous, put his hand into his shirt between the buttons, pulled out a knife and shouted, 'Allah Akbar' (God is great).

"The Ofra resident pulled out his weapon, fired two bullets, and the terrorist fell on the floor. Security and medical forces were dispatched to the area and tended to the terrorist, but eventually proclaimed him dead."

According to Yogev, only 10 days ago two Arabs attempted to stab civilians at the same junction, but fled as an IDF patrol passed by.

MDA paramedic Ilan Klein, who arrived at the scene of the incident, told Ynet, "We received a report of gunshots in the Shiloh Junction area. When we arrived, we saw a terrorist lying near the hitchhikers' station, with several bullet holes in his body and a 20-centimter knife near his body.

"The young man who shot the terrorist said that he had approached them in a bid to stab them, with his knife pulled out. When he noticed the man, he fired at him."

The paramedic added that two people were standing at the hitchhikers' station – a 30-year-old man who shot the terrorist and a 15-year-old boy.

Just one more reason every Jew, no matter where they live in the world, should own a gun and know how to use it.

For those Jews that live in the USA that don't own a gun, shame on you . You live in a country that has a Constitution that assures your right to own a fire arm and you put yourself and your children at risk by not owning a gun.

Also if you are a Jew that votes for a politician that supports any form of gun control, you have failed to learn the lessons from the past. The Jews of the Warsaw ghetto should be our heros, for they armed themselves and fought back.

Please G-D may the Jews of America never find themselves in the same position as the Jews of Warsaw, but you better own some guns if we do.

I will fly any where to teach a group of Jews to shoot, send me a ticket, tell me I will have kosher food and a place to lay my head at night and I will come to teach you to shoot.

Who knows you may even have fun doing it.

Good job to the Jew that killed the terrorist.

Surrender Now

U.S. 'Very Surprised' at Extent of Israeli Concessions
24 Adar Bet 5768, 31 March 08 02:50
by Gil Ronen

(IsraelNN.com) Israeli diplomatic sources said Sunday that the American delegation was very surprised at the extent of Israeli concessions to the Fatah-controlled "Palestinian Authority" (PA) announced by Defense Minister Ehud Barak. However, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was quick to say that they were not enough, and vowed to monitor Israel's execution of its promises.

The latest Israeli concessions to the PA in Judea and Samaria include permission for construction of two new Arab neighborhoods in the Ramallah area, with a total of 5,000 to 8,000 housing units. In addition, about 50 dirt roadblocks in Samaria will be removed, thus enabling vehicular traffic between Jenin, Tulkarm, Kalkilya and Ramallah, and the permanent checkpoint in the Rimonim area will be removed.

Barak announced the decisions in the meeting he held with PA "Prime Minister" Salam Fayyad and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Sunday.

Rice Talks Tough About Israeli Compliance
U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice had some tough words for Israel Sunday regarding the "gestures" Israel has undertaken to carry out in Judea and Samaria.

"We will monitor exactly what the Israelis do and the purpose is to improve the Palestinians' freedom of movement," Rice said. "We want to be much more systematic about what is promised and what is actually carried out," she added.

American special envoy General William Fraser, Rice explained, will be following Israel's implementation of the Road Map closely "and making sure that the road blocks are indeed removed and that this has an impact on the Palestinians' freedom of movement." Before Fraser arrived, she said, "we did not do this and we received promises that the Israeli steps would be carried out within a short time. I expect this to happen very soon."

25 APCs, 125 more vehicles
The Israeli concessions also included the following:

1. PA "police" stations will open in some areas under joint Israeli and PA control.

2. 700 PA "police" personnel will be deployed in the Jenin area, once they return from training in Jordan. Ultimate security responsibility will remain in Israel's hands.

3. Additional roadblocks and checkpoints in Judea and Samaria are to be removed by mid-May.

4. 25 APC's – out of 50 originally requested – and 125 additional vehicles and pieces of logistical equipment will be delivered to PA/Fatah hands.

5. Various restrictions on the movement of public figures will be eased.

6. Various restrictions on the movement of businessmen will be eased.

7. An additional 5,000 permits will be issued for construction work by Arabs in Israel (the current quota is approximately 18,500).

8. The Sha'ar Ephraim Crossing for will be opened for commercial activity on Fridays.

9. Israel will allow the passage of businessmen from Arab countries, the United Kingdom, Turkey, the PA and Israel on a VIP footing (without checks) through Ben-Gurion International Airport, for the Bethlehem Economic Conference for Investors in May. Israeli businessmen will be allowed to enter Bethlehem for the conference. Businessmen attending the conference will be allowed to move in organized groups in Judea and Samaria cities, and into Israel (including Jerusalem and Nazareth).

10. Industrial Zones will be established in Jericho, Hevron (Tarkumiyah) and Mukibla. The Tarkumiya Industrial Zone will receive Turkish financing. Another industrial zone will be established in Yericho (Jericho) for the processing and marketing abroad of PA agricultural produce. Japan and Jordan will be involved in this project.

A statement issued after the talks went on to say that "the parties have completed connection of 27 Palestinian villages in [Judea and Samaria] to the Israeli power grid and, in an unprecedented action, have connected Jericho to the Jordan power grid."

PA will 'work' against terror
The agreements reached in the talks between Rice, Barak and Fayyad include only one commitment by the PA. "For its part, the Palestinian Authority will deploy security forces to provide law and order, and work to prevent terror," the statement issued by the American delegation said.

American officials voiced satisfaction with the Israeli "gestures." However, the sources said, Israel needs to do even more to make the Arabs' lives better.

Rice will meet Jordan's King Abdullah Sunday evening and will meet Prime Minister Olmert again Monday. She will then meet the heads of the Israeli and Arab negotiating teams, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Ahmed Qureia ("Abu Ala").

Opposition chairman Binyamin Netanyahu told U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Sunday that a permanent status arrangement with the PA that does not leave the IDF in charge of "large areas" of Judea and Samaria would lead to a Hamas takeover and the creation of additional Iranian bases there.

"We cannot transfer responsibility for security to subcontractors. Security needs to stay in the IDF and the security establishment. The practical way is an economic peace with the Palestinians," Netanyahu said after the meeting.

"If we abandon security to the care of others, we will receive rockets," the Likud chairman said. "We are the ones protecting Abu Mazen, he isn't protecting us."

I am slowly coming to a painful conclusion.

That myself and every other religious Zionist are wrong.

Not only are we wrong, but maybe when some of the ultra orthodox Jews say we don't deserve a State maybe they are right.

If we are not willing to fight to keep the Land that G-D gave us in the 6 day war then maybe we don't deserve any of our Land. We are too weak, too busy making a living, too be bothered with the need to fight to keep our State.

I once swore an oath to defend the Constitution against ALL enemies foreign and domestic.

I still stand by that oath.

But is the religious Zionist community willing to defend the Land of Israel the Land that G-D gave us against ALL enemies foreign and domestic?

If the answer is no, then let's surrender now and avoid unnecessary loss of life.

Rice Can Stay Home

Barak to tell Rice Israel living up to its commitments

US secretary of state expected to attend three-way meeting with Israeli defense minister, Palestinian PM Salam Fayyad. American diplomats tell Jerusalem visit will be different than predecessors, warn that lack of progress on the ground bodes ill for Annapolis achievements

"Having said this, Israel's actions depend first and foremost on the need to defend its citizens," Defense Minister Ehud Barak is expected to tell US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice upon the latter's visit to the region this weekend.

Rice will arrive ahead of schedule for a round of high-profile meetings intended to inject energy into the peace process, which the US fears is losing momentum.

On Sunday the secretary will hold a joint press conference with Foreign Affairs Minister Tzipi Livni and later join Barak and Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad for a three-way meeting.

Both Israel and the Palestinians see Rice's upcoming visit – a mere three weeks after her last trip to the region – as a reprimand of sorts. Jerusalem and Ramallah understand that America is desperate to revitalize the process.

While Livni and chief Palestinian negotiator Ahmed Qureia report progress has been made in their ongoing talks – the impression on the ground is of stagnation.

Furthermore, all sides are concerned with – and are closely monitoring - Hamas' growing strength in the West Bank.

Let;s hope the process looses momentum and fails 100%, I don't think the American people are desperate to revitalize the death process of Israel.

Regarding the growing strangth of Hamas I know the answer to this problem.

It is called war.

Not the Second Lebanon war kind of war but WW2 kind of war will solve the Hamas problem.

Jews Are Going To Die

Barak: We Will Ease Up on Arabs in Judea and Samaria

(IsraelNN.com) Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Wednesday that Israel intended to ease the pressure on the Arab population in Judea and Samaria "while maintaining our supreme obligation to the security of the citizens of Israel." He spoke after a meeting in Tel Aviv with PA "Prime Minister" Salam Fayyad.

The two discussed subjects described as "political and security matters." Barak's bureau said the talk was held in an "honest, serious and open atmosphere."

Jews are going to die.

Every time we go down this path Jews die, when will we learn.

Let Freedom Ring

POLICE AND PRISON AUTHORITIES MISTREAT YOUNG JEWISH GIRLS Israeljustice.com Date added: 3/25/2008 www.israeljustice.com/news2.asp?key=116

JERUSALEM -- For the young Jewish girl, Z., her night in jail was an
experience she never learned in school.
Arrested at an anti-government demonstration, the Jewish teenager
learned first-hand that the harsh policy of the government of Israeli Prime
Minister Ehud Olmert against Jewish dissent.
In treatment that jurists deemed harsher than that for alleged violent
criminals, Z. and her friends were denied food, water and medical treatment
and thrown into horrible conditions.
"They [police] took me to the jail in the Russian Compound [in
Jerusalem] and I waited with the other two girls in a very small room with
bars on the window," Z. said. "After a long wait, they took me for a body
search." Z. recounted that she spent much of the night being shunted back
and forth between the police station and the jail.
"Then they put me in a room while they looked for a holding cell with an
old blanket and a mattress," Z. said. "Then they put me in a cell with two
other girls and an old woman. She smoked all the time and I couldn't
breathe."
Z.'s account has been verified by the Israel Bar Association. In a
report by the Prisons Service Committee of the Israel Bar Association, the
conditions in which Z. and four girls arrested with her were held were
deemed "inhumane."
The conditions of their imprisonment are "harsh, inhumane and illegal,"
the report said.
The report said that police and prison guards had conditioned food,
water and medical attention on the minors agreeing to identify themselves.
"Medical attention and food and water were conditioned on the disclosure
of the girls' identities," the report said. "Such conditions are baseless
and are a serious violation of their rights."
The report also detailed how the girls were given "stinky, soiled,
military blankets" and they shared a cell with an adult woman who was a
chain smoke. The cell "was full of cigarette smoke and had no ventilation
aperture," the report said.
The five girls, ranging in age from 14 to 17, were arrested on March 16
at the end of a demonstration on Jerusalem's Promenade, located in the East
Talpiot neighborhood. The demonstration was in protest against the
government's refusal to destroy the home in the adjoining neighborhood of
Jabal Mukhaber of the Arab attacker, Ala Abu Dheim, who killed eight Jewish
teenagers on March 6 in the Mercaz Harav seminary in Jerusalem.
Witnesses said that most of the 22 people arrested at the demonstration
were minors and were simply grabbed by police.
Z. said they were given some bread and water during the night but prison
wardens and police threatened them that food and water and medical attention
would be withheld if they didn't identify themselves.
"Early in the morning they woke us up to stand to attention and told us
that we had to go to court," Z. said. "I sat there waiting for them but they
didn't come and at 10.00 am they gave us two slices of bread and a
cucumber."
Z., who had sustained injuries during the demonstration, complained to
prison guards that she was feeling sick but was denied medical treatment.
"I was sick so I asked for tea from the prison guard, Z. said. "He told
me there weren't any cups so he gave me tea in the cup belonging to the old
woman in the cell and she was angry with me."
Z. said that prison guards assured her that she would be able to see the
doctor but then said he was unavailable.
. "We were supposed to see the doctor and he would be able to get me a cup
of tea," Z. said, "but they [prison wardens] told me that he wasn't
available."
Z. said that they were given stale pasta but later forced to eat with
their hands.
"Then they [prison guards] gave us some old yellow spaghetti to eat," Z.
said. "Then a female prison guard said that if we didn't identify ourselves,
we wouldn't get any more food to eat. After we finished eating we threw out
our plastic spoons."
Z. said that the situation improved after two attorneys from the Israel
Bar Association spoke with the girls.
"Then the two lawyers came and they [prison guards] gave us some more
food," Z. said. "We asked for more spoons but the prison warden told us that
we had thrown out our spoons and now would have to eat with our hands."
Police can hold people for up to 24 hours before bringing them before a
judge to extend their remand and Z. was released 16 hours after her arrest.
"Then they called me to sign the agreement and put me in a closed room
and shut the window slit," Z. said. "I waited for hours for someone to get
me out."
Police later admitted to a Jerusalem magistrate that there was no reason
for the arrest of the girls.
The Prison Services Committee, headed by attorney Michael Attiya, has
recommended submitting the report to Public Security Minister Avi Dichter,
Justice Minister Daniel Friedmann and Attorney General Menachem Mazuz to
correct the civil rights violations.

Lat's forget for a second, the daily rocket attacks against Israel, and the mismanaged Second Lebanon war and the operations into Gaza that have resulted in zero gains other than the criminal deaths of our soldiers.

The treatment of these girls and other people that dissent the treason against Zionism being committed by every Knesset member is a crime that can never be forgiven. Jews in power treating the Jewish citizens of Israel this way can never be condoned or forgiven.

However until the people of Israel turn against the evil that rules over them, can they expect any other treatment at the hands of their masters, slaves accept mistreatment and freemen fight back.

If on a weekly basis 10% of the population demonstrated against the peace crimes pushed down their throats, what percent of the population should take to the street to demand an end to this tyranny?

The majority of Jews of Israel must take to the street and demand an end to the rule of these thugs. Religious Jews and atheist, gay and straight, left wing and right wing must join together and demand justice for themselves. For today it was this group of girls tomorrow it will be you that feels the weight of the states jackboot on your throat.

Every member of the police and jail service that took part in these actions should go to prison for abuse and we must also hold the political masters accountable and they also must go to jail for their crimes.

If we do not demand justice then in the end Israeli citizens will be slaves to the state and the Marxist founders will have gained their dream of a socialist workers paradise in the Middle East.

Let the cry from the American Revolution be sounded again, "Liberty or Death"

Jew Faces Sentencing for Creating Referendum

(IsraelNN.com) Jewish activist Yekutiel Ben-Yakov of Kfar Tapuach faces sentencing on Tuesday morning for creating a referendum prior to the expulsion of Jews from Gaza in 2005. Ben-Yakov was convicted of inciting to racism, and now faces a sentence of up to five years in prison. He believes he was charged with incitement because his referendum upset the government by showing to what extent the “Disengagement” plan went against the will of the majority.

Ben-Yakov’s referendum asked whether those questioned supported then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s plan to expel Jews from Gaza and Samaria more than an alternative plan to expel hostile Arabs from the same areas. More than 100,000 participated in the referendum, which can be seen at www.mishal.org/eng/, and over 90 percent said they would rather expel hostile Arabs than Jews. “It’s outrageous that a country that calls itself a democracy can put someone on trial for making a referendum... a referendum is the purest form of democracy,” Ben-Yakov said Monday.

Supporters plan to rally in front of the Jerusalem Magistrates Court in the Russian Compound at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Those who cannot attend the rally are invited to send faxes to Justice Rivka Friedman-Feldman at 02-625-4189 to express their interest in the case.

Israel is not America with a Hebrew accent it is a third world country struggling to rid itself of it's Marxist roots and at times when it comes to keeping the elite in charge then the state doesn't fail to step down hard on freedom.

Report: Iranian, Syrian missiles to pound Israel in next war

Secret report paints grim picture: Thousands of casualties, nationwide power outages

Itamar Eichner
Published: 03.24.08, 13:46 / Israel News

Hundreds of dead, thousands of injured, missile barrages on central Israel, full paralysis at Ben-Gurion Airport, constantly bombed roads, nationwide power outages that last for long hours, and whole regions' water supply being cut off – this is what the next war could look like.

A secret report recently distributed among government ministries and local municipalities details various wartime scenarios. The report deals with very harsh possibilities, including some that are downright horrifying, formulated as part of the lessons drawn in the wake of the Second Lebanon War.

Notably, the document does not aim to predict future developments with certainty, but rather, only aims to serve as a guideline for civilian war preparations. The above assessment is characterized as a "severe reasonable scenario" – that is, it is not the gravest scenario, but also not the most favorable.

According to this scenario, the war will last for about a month and will include the participation of Syria (military operations on the Golan Heights front and the firing of many Scud missiles at the home front,) Lebanon (the firing of thousands of Hizbullah rockets at the Galilee and Haifa as well long-range missiles at central Israel,) and the Palestinian Authority (relatively limited conflict that would include short-range rockets fired from Gaza and the West Bank as well as terror attacks such as suicide bombings within Israel.)

Mass evacuation in case of chemical attack

According to this scenario, Iran will also get involved in the war, but will only fire a limited number of missiles rather than non-conventional weapons. In addition to missile barrages, the scenario includes aerial strikes on military and strategic targets, attacks on infrastructure facilities, and attempted abductions of civilians and soldiers.

Such hypothetical war, according to the assessment, will leave 100-230 civilians dead, and 1,900-3,200 Israelis wounded. However, should Israel be attacked with chemical weapons, the number of killed and wounded Israelis would skyrocket to 16,000.

Under such circumstances, as a result of missile damage, chemical contamination, and the razing of homes the State would have to evacuate as many as 227,000 Israelis from their homes. According to the assessment, about 100,000 people would seek to leave the country should such scenario materialize.

If I were the Prime Minister if either Syria or Iran were to hit Israel at all during the next war, I would hit them with nuclear weapons and once I starteed I would not stop using the nukes until the threat was gone forever.

But alas the current members of the Knesset would 100% take such hits and not respond in a decisive way for we are cursed with Cowards, Scum and Traitors as our leaders.

I would even go so far as to warn Syria and Iran that in the event of an attack by them that I would nuke them until they glowed in the dark.

Surprise Arabs Support Terrorism Against Jews

Poll Shows 85% of PA Arabs Support Terror
15 Adar Bet 5768, 22 March 08 12:28
by Ezra HaLevi

(IsraelNN.com) Two recent polls find a vast majority of Arabs supporting terror attacks and a growing Israeli majority opposed to further withdrawals.

A recent Palestinian Authority poll shows that 84 percent of PA Arabs approve of the massacre at Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva in Jerusalem, where eight students were gunned down and ten wounded.

The poll, carried out by Ramallah-based pollster Khalil Shikaki, interviewed 1,270 PA Arabs. 64 percent support the rocket attacks on Israeli cities and towns such as Sderot and Ashkelon launched from Hamas-controlled Gaza. Those who oppose the attacks don’t necessarily do so on moral grounds, but rather strategic considerations.

A slim majority of PA Arabs support Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas for president over Fatah’s Mahmoud Abbas.

In February of last year, a Near East Consulting (NEC) poll found that 75 percent of PA Arabs do not think that Israel has a right to exist.

Referring to the most recent poll, Zionist Organization of America President Morton Klein said the results were not surprising. "This poll, unfortunately, merely confirms the results of innumerable earlier polls, showing Palestinians to approve of terrorism that targets innocent Jewish men, women and children and rejecting peace or co-existence with Israel as a Jewish state. In these circumstances, it is clear that a Palestinian state would be nothing more that the world's newest terrorist state. It would be folly for either Israel or the United States to support the establishment of a Palestinian state under such conditions and it noteworthy that the former Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff, Lt.-Gen. Moshe Yaalon, former CIA director R. James Woolsey and pre-eminent Middle East historian Bernard Lewis have all come out in opposition to the establishment of a Palestinian state."

Israelis Tired of Withdrawals
A poll commissioned by SOS-Israel phrased the question about future withdrawals: “In light of the results of the Disengagement plan from the Gaza Strip, are you in favor of a continued withdrawal from Judea and Samaria?"

64.9 percent answered that they oppose further withdrawals and 23.9 percent said are in favor. The others would not answer the question. Divided into religious demographics, 95 percent of Hareidi-religious opposed withdrawals, followed by 90.9 of the national religious and 57 percent of the non-observant public.

Gazan Uses Humanitarian Permit to Evade Police 7 Adar Bet 5768, 14 March 08 12:48 by Ezra HaLevi

(IsraelNN.com) An Arab man from Gaza granted humanitarian passage through Israel for medical treatment used the opportunity to run away and hide in an Israeli-Arab town.

Security forces launched a wide-scale search, fearing the man was on his way to carry out a terror attack after he evaded security forces at the Erez Crossing.

He was later apprehended in the northern Israel town of Nazareth.

The man had been given authorization to travel through Israel to Egypt for medical treatment.

In the past, at least one Gazan woman receiving medical treatment at an Israeli hospital was caught trying to carry out a suicide bombing.

Radical Leftist Rabbi Arrested For Preventing Evacuation of Wounded Jew
Reform Rabbi Arik Asherman, who heads the radical leftist group Rabbis for Human Rights was arrested in Jerusalem Thursday for inciting local Arabs to riot against Israeli archeological digs and preventing the evacuation of a wounded Jewish resident.

Asherman was detained Wednesday after taking part in a protest against archeological digs in the Shiloah (Silwan) neighborhood of Jerusalem, below the Western Wall to the east. The leftist and Arab protestors clashed with members of the Elad organization, which oversees the digs.

Asherman was first offered a deal by the police to agree not to approach the area for two weeks, but when he refused he was arrested. Rabbis for Human Rights condemned the arrest, and accused police of undermining “efforts to expose the unfair treatment and violations of human rights in the Palestinian territories.”

This is no way to fight a war, can we even think that the greatest generation would in the middle of the Second World War let people out of Germany or Japan so they could be brought to the USA for medical treatment?

Or would the generation of WW2 allow a fifth column of traitors to protest and cause problems like we allow today?

If my fathers generation was the greatest generation, then sadly they failed because they produced the whimp generation in their children.

Normal Day In Israel

At least 30 Qassam rockets fired into Israel from Gaza since Wed.

At least 30 Qassam rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip into Sderot and other Gaza-area communities since Wednesday night, shattering a recent
lull in Gaza fighting and highlighting the fragility of efforts to move Israel and Gaza's Islamic Hamas rulers toward a truce.

Ten mortar shells were also fired at Israel's south.

Two rockets struck urban areas and the rest hit open areas. No one was hurt but some property damage was reported.

Gaza militant groups said late Thursday that they had fired 64 rockets and mortar shells at Israel during the course of the day Thursday.

The Prime Minister's Office said on Thursday that Israel holds Hamas accountable for every rocket fired by the different militant groups in the Gaza Strip.

Traitor Speaks

MK Tibi: Home Demolition Hurts the Innocent

(IsraelNN.com) Arab MK Ahmed Tibi, the Knesset's Deputy Speaker, protested Public Security Minister Avi Dichter's decision to demolish a mass-murdering terrorist's home Wednesday.

Tibi claimed the move constituted collective punishment which does not conform to the law, and hurts the innocent. Earlier in the day, Dichter instructed the police to tear down the home of the terrorist from eastern Jerusalem who murdered eight yeshiva boys at point blank range Thursday.

Tibi, who hails from Taibeh, in central Israel, has a large poster of Yasser Arafat in his Knesset office and used to be an advisor to the terror leader. He is a favorite interviewee in Israeli media.

Tibi is a traitor and must be dealt with.

The family of the terrorist were flying the flags of Hamas and Hizbullah at their home.

I say tear the house down, take away their land and throw them out of Israel.

Rabbi Ovadia Yosef’s son: We must repay our enemies in kind

Less than a day after publication of reports that rabbis are granting halachic sanction to harm Arabs, various right-wing rabbis publish circular urging followers to ‘fight the enemy tit for tat’

Kobi Nahshoni
Latest Update: 03.12.08, 18:50 / Israel Jewish Scene

On Wednesday, several right-wing rabbis, including the son of Shas party’s spiritual leader, Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, published circulars appearing in Jerusalem and West Bank settlements calling on followers to “fight the enemy tit for tat and blow for blow. They have no compassion for us, so we must feel none for them”.

The circular, entitled "The Torah’s Viewpoint Revealed", was written following the gruesome terror attack on the Mercaz Harav yeshiva in Jerusalem ;ast Thursday. It was signed by numerous rabbis from the extreme Right, including Rabbi Yaakov Yosef, who once served as an MK with the Shas party.

In spite of the circular’s unabashedly militant message, urging followers to retaliate against terror attacks in kind, David Drukman, Kiryat Motzkin’s Chief Rabbi, who signed the document, insists that it is no way a call for violent action. “We in no fashion want anyone to take the law into their own hands and create anarchy.”

“This was a simple and understandable plea in all respects,” said Drukman. Mainly , he stated, it urges followers to rely more on Jewish labor and hire Jewish workers. "Its intent wasn’t as narrow and specific as left-wingers would like to believe….It was in no way a call for vigilantism in any way, shape or form.”

For the most part the circular is a vehement attack on the current government:”Proper Jewish leadership should abide by the guidelines highlighted in the Shulchan Aruch (a prominent Jewish religious text) whereby Jews are obligated to resist non-Jews who attempt to attack them either in person or property,” reads the circular. “Any show of weakness, after all, only invites further bloodshed and violence.”

Moreover, the rabbis urge the current Israeli leadership to launch an all out war against the terrorists attacking Israel. “True Jewish leaders realize when it is necessary to go to war in order to justly defend the Jewish people, who are God’s people, and the Jewish homeland, which is God’s own dominion, from foes wishing to destroy them.”

Report: IDF kills mastermind of Jerusalem terror attack

Bethlehem sources say IDF forces operating in town kill Muhammad Shahade, Islamic Jihad operative believed to be responsible for attack on Mercaz Harav yeshiva in Jerusalem; three other militants killed in raid

Published: 03.12.08, 18:44 / Israel News

Muhammad Shahade, an Islamic Jihad operative who Palestinian sources say was behind the terror attack in Mercaz Harav yeshiva in Jerusalem last week, has been killed by IDF forces in Bethlehem Wednesday afternoon, local witnesses reported.

According to reports, another three militants have been killed in the raid, one of them an al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades member.

Military sources said that the four men were responsible for a series of terror attacks against Israel in the years 2000-2001, but did not attribute the Jerusalem attack to Shahade.

Shahade, a former Fatah member and an Islamic Jihad operative, has been known to have extensive ties with Hizbullah.

Palestinian sources reported that IDF forces have operated in the city, close to the Mukataa compound, and that several Palestinians have been injured. He said that Shahade was the target of the raid.

A senior wanted terror suspect, Muhammad Balbul, has reportedly been injured in the clashes.

Two days after the Jerusalem attack, which was carried out by Alaa Abu Dheim and left eight students killed, the police reported they have arrested eight people suspected of involvement in the attack.

This is too little, too late, the IDF needs to be turned loose with the mission being victory over our enemy.

Olmert in Ashkelon: Get used to rocket fire

PM Olmert visits Ashkelon, says Israel has 'no way of preventing Grad rocket attacks from recurring'; later, school child shares idea with PM: 'Every time they fire Qassam, it should activate button that fires back'

"Don't conduct yourselves as though the Grad rocket attacks were not a one-time thing; this has been Israel's reality for the past 60 years, and this demands restraint as well as strength," Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told board members of the Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon Tuesday.

"There is no point in comparing your situation to that of Sderot or other towns that have sustained the rocket fire for years," the PM told hospital officials after hearing their complaints over the fact that the hospital has yet to be fortified.

"The Grad is heavier than the Qassam, and we have no way of preventing these things (rocket attacks) from recurring."

Israel is cursed by the piece of garbage called the Knesset, that keeps Olmert in office.

Get used to rockets falling on your head?

Wake Up Israel, the members of Knesset have violated the contract that citizens make between themselves and their government. It is time to engage in extreme measures to force this man from office.

Take to the streets, don't work, force Israel all of Israel to a stand still to force Olmert out before this weak little man kills anymore of our sons in mishandled operations of the IDF or we loose more children to terrorism.

If you love your children force the issue take the power of the people into your hands and rise up.

Mar 11, 2008 17:40 | Updated Mar 11, 2008 19:17 Fahima visits terrorist's mourning tent By JPOST.COM STAFF

Left-wing activist and former prisoner, Tali Fahima, on Tuesday visited the east Jerusalem mourning tent erected by the family of the gunmen who killed eight students in Thursday's shooting spree at Mercaz Harav Yeshiva.

"I was with the family and I have no doubt that the Israeli security forces are mainly just exacerbating [the situation], and causing civilians to be killed - like the yeshiva students, because of the years-long policy of occupation," Fahima told Israel Radio

She went on to say that she would quite happily visit the families of the slain yeshiva students, but she feared for her life. "If I arrived there they would kill me."

Jerusalem Police said Monday that they were holding the body of the Mercaz Harav attacker, 25-year-old Ala Abu Dhaim, until his family agrees to hold a low-key funeral without media coverage.

Police are insisting on a small ceremony of no more than five immediate relatives, with no press coverage, a friend of the gunman's family said.

Fahima urged Israel to release the terrorist's body to his family. "Give them their body right now." she said.

The left-wing activist added that she was not at all concerned over Israel possible responses to her visit. "When I stood as a human shield - they also branded me a traitor."

Israel must stop playing games with the likes of this traitor, she along with her friends the Israeli Arab members of Knesset that call for the destruction of the State of Israel must pay for their crimes.

She must be given a fair trial and if found guilty she must pay for her crimes against the Jewish people with her life.

Unlike the Israeli Arab members of Knesset who should suffer a series of "accidents" at the hands of various Israeli government agencies.

Palestinian group Hamas admits that its fighters are trained in Iran
The Sunday Times March 9, 2008

THE Palestinian group Hamas, blamed for last week's massacre of eight
students at a Jewish seminary in Jerusalem, has revealed that hundreds of
its fighters have been trained in Iran.

A senior commander interviewed by The Sunday Times said 300 of the group's
"best brains" had been secretly sent to Tehran.

Half are still being trained by Revolutionary Guards. They are learning how
to make explosives from everyday items and produce deadlier rockets.
The rest have already returned from a Revolutionary Guard base in Tehran.
Some have been trained as snipers. Others have learnt to use tunnels in
attacks on Israeli forces.

"Iran is our mother," the commander said. "She gives us information,
military supplies and financial support."

Seven separate groups of Hamas militants have spent up to six months in
Tehran since the training began in 2005.

The scale of Iran's operation exceeds Israeli intelligence suspicions that
Hamas had dispatched "tens" of fighters to Tehran. Yuval Diskin, the head of
Shin Bet, the Israeli internal security service, said last week: "I see this
as the strategic danger, more than any weapons smuggled into Gaza."

Israeli officials believe that Iran is waging a "proxy war" against their
country on two fronts - through Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon. The
Hamas commander said Iranian-trained instructors had also taught more than
700 fighters at a base in Syria.

"If the mourning tent and the terrorist's home are not destroyed, students from all over Israel will destroy them," Rabbi Yaakov Shapira, head of the Mercaz Harav yeshiva, site of last week's deadly terror attack, told visiting Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik on Monday.

The speaker was accompanied by yeshiva personnel who conveyed the details of the visit.

Later, Itzik met with yeshiva heads for a conversation in which Rabbi Shapira told her: "It's not normal that the mourners' tent is still up. In every other place in the world they would have destroyed it in such circumstances."

Speaker Itzik replied that "this isn't an ethical question at all. The tent should be destroyed; the house should be destroyed."

Wow maybe their is some hope when a lefty like Dalia Itzik has had enough we may have a future.

"Peace" Partner

PA Daily: Mass Murderer is a Martyr

(IsraelNN.com) Mahmoud Abbas's official Palestinian Authority daily newspaper has honored the terrorist who gunned down eight Jewish high school students with the status of shahid, or holy Islamic martyr.

The official PA daily Al Hayat Al Jadida prominently placed a picture of the point blank killer on the front page, with the caption, "The Shahid Alaa Abu D'heim." In a page one article on the massacre at Mercaz HaRav Kook yeshiva, his crime is again defined as an act of martyrdom (shahada).

Palestinian Media Watch says that in publishing the article, "the PA is sending its people a straightforward message of support for the terror murders and the murderer." According to the PA's interpretation of Islam, PMW explained, a human being can achieve no higher status than that of shahid.

This is the "peace" partner that America is forcing on Israel.

Once again I will say it clearly Abbas is Arafat, with a $2000 suit and clean shave.

Bush condemns 'barbaric and vicious attack'

Israel vows not to allow yeshiva shooting slammed by PA President Abbas to derail peace talks. Leaders, diplomats from multitude of nations issue harshly worded condemnations; US president reiterates American support for Israel in phone call to PM Olmert

US President George W. Bush telephoned Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Thursday night and expressed his condolences over Thursday's terror attack which left eight yeshiva students dead.

"I condemn in the strongest possible terms the terrorist attack in Jerusalem that targeted innocent students at the Mercaz Harav yeshiva. This barbaric and vicious attack on innocent civilians deserves the condemnation of every nation," Bush said in a statement.

The US president added that he had spoken with the Israeli prime minister to extend his "deepest condolences to the victims, their families, and to the people of Israel.

"I told him the United States stands firmly with Israel in the face of this terrible attack," Bush said.

US: Mideast peace bid must go on despite attack

White House urges Israel, PA to keep negotiations going despite attack on Jerusalem yeshiva. 'The most important thing is that the peace process continues,' says White House spokesman

Reuters
Published: 03.07.08, 19:17 / Israel News

The White House on Friday urged Israel and the Palestinians to stick with US-backed peace efforts despite a shooting attack that killed eight students at the Mercaz Harav yeshiva in Jerusalem.

"The most important thing is that the peace process continue and that the parties are committed to it," White House spokesman Tony Fratto told reporters.

Thursday's attack by a Palestinian gunman dealt another blow to US President George W. Bush's bid for a peace deal before he leaves office in January 2009, a goal already beset by deep skepticism and persistent violence.

Condemning the deadliest attack in Israel in two years, Bush said earlier that the United States stood firmly with the Jewish state, Washington's close ally.

Asked whether the White House was disappointed by the UN Security Council's failure to condemn the assault, Fratto said, "There's nothing to explain that an attack of this nature deserves nothing less than condemnation."

"It was extremely disheartening to see people in the streets in Gaza and elsewhere celebrating. That was fairly disgusting actually," He added.

None of the above makes any sense to me, Jews are murdered but the peace talks must move on.

It makes about as much sense to me as if someone during the Holocaust the only thing that they spoke out against was the environmental impact that all the smoke was making.

Shame on Bush,Rice and Olmert for standing by innocent blood, both the blood shed yesterday and that which will be shed in the future on the alter of the idol called peace.

Israeli police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the gunman was from Jabel Mukaber, a neighborhood in east Jerusalem, where Palestinian residents hold Israeli ID cards that give them freedom of movement in Israel. The man worked as a driver, Rosenfeld said, but would not provide further details.

Rosenfeld said the attacker walked through the seminary's main gate and entered the library, where witnesses said some 80 students were gathered. He carried an assault rifle and pistol, and used both weapons in the attack. Rosenfeld said at least six empty bullet clips were found on the floor.

Several residents of the neighborhood gave the gunman's name as Alaa Abu Dheim, 20. They said he was arrested by Israeli authorities four months ago and then released two months later.

Abu Dheim's family set up a mourning tent Friday and hung green Hamas flags outside their home.

WE ARE STUPID, CRIMINALLY STUPID.

I want to yell and scream at how stupid Jews are.

Never hire an Arab, in more incidents that can be told here the Arab worker one day turns on the Jew who hired him and the Jew gets to die for being stupid.

If I were Prime Minister, Israel would arrest every single person at this terrorist scums house that was the day after the murder sitting under the flag of Hamas in Jerusalem and we would deport them and reduce their home to ruble.

The Arab members of Knesset would either be arrested for treason and after a fair trial shot or they would just end up dead.

We are at war so let's act like it.

Bad Times Ahead

If Olmert does not get his act together and respond like a real Prime Minister to the daily rocket attacks and today's murderes at Mercaz Harav Yeshiva, bad things will happen.

If you don't understand the ramifications of this targeted attack, let me give you some background Mercaz Harav Yeshiva is considered the leading national-religious yeshiva in Israel, with hundreds of elite students. Among its thousands of graduates are leading public figures including senior rabbis and IDF officers. It was founded in 1924 by mandatory Palestine's first chief rabbi, Rabbi Avraham Yitzhak Hacohen Kook. Its longtime head, Rabbi Avraham Shapira, died in September 2007.

This is a stab at the heart of religious Zionism, and if Olmert does not strike back, I am afraid that individual Jews will say enough is enough and strike back at our enemies the Arab in acts of retaliation.

Jerusalem police chief says gunman who opened fire on yeshiva students shot by IDF officer, eight people reported killed

One terrorist infiltrated a rabbinical seminary at the entrance of Jerusalem and opened fire after nightfall Thursday, police said. The ZAKA emergency response service has confirmed at least eight people have been killed in addition to the terrorist.

Jerusalem police commander Aharon Franco refuted initial reports from the scene claiming there were two gunmen. Franco said that only one attacker opened fire at the seminary and told reporters at the scene that ''an Israeli army officer nearby'' shot the gunman dead.

The 'Galilee Freedom Brigades' – an Israeli-Arab group - has claimed responsibility for the attack. The organization has claimed responsibility for several terror attacks in Israel in the past.

Last update - 01:34 06/03/2008 Palestinian killed, Israeli hurt in drive-by shooting in W. Bank By Yuval Azoulay and Avi Issacharoff, Haaretz Correspondents Tags: Israel, shooting, West Bank

A 40-year-old Palestinian man was killed and an Israeli civilian sustained moderate-to-serious injuries in a drive-by shooting Wednesday in the village of Idna, west of Hebron. Defense authorities are checking whether this was an attempted terror attack against Jews, or a local clan conflict.

Fatah's Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades claimed responsibility for the attack in a telephone call to the Palestinian news agency Maan, and said it was an act of revenge for events in Gaza.

The Israeli came to the village to sell his car to a local, Mohammad Nofal. As they were standing on the side of the road, they came under fire from a passing Palestinian car. The Israeli, who was hit in the stomach, drove his car to the Tarqumiyeh checkpoint and reported the attack to the soldiers on duty. He was taken by helicopter to Hadassah University Hospital, Ein Karem.

Seven Qassam rockets were fired on Wednesday from the Gaza Strip and landed in open areas around Sderot and Zikim, south of Ashkelon. They caused no casualties or damage.

But of course we still can achieve "peace" this year, never mind the fact that if a Jew does something stupid like this one did he gets shot, we can obtain "peace".

If Palestinians are still willing to set up people to be murdered then how can we obtain "peace" unless it is the "peace of the cemetery.

One Crazy, Or One Real Man

Mar 5, 2008 19:17 | Updated Mar 5, 2008 21:21 Ashkelon man builds homemade missile By JPOST.COM STAFF

Ashkelon resident Moshe Nissimpor decided that the best way to halt rocket fire from Gaza - in light of what he terms the government's failure to do so - is some vigilante justice.

Nissimpor developed a homemade 200-millimeter ballistic missile which he planned to launch from Ashkelon into the Gaza Strip.

"From this day onwards, we will push back to the stone age every place which dares shoot missiles into Israel's sovereign territory," he said Wednesday. "It is time the world understood Israelis' lives are not expendable."

"I'm afraid this is the only language the Palestinians understand, and this is the language in which we'll speak to them. I have many Gazan Palestinian friends who live as Hamas hostages. Once we bring an end to the rocket fire, Gaza's residents will also live in peace," he said.

Nissimpor arrived at the Ashkelon Municipality building with the missile painted black and lettered "to Hamas, from the residents of Ashkelon" in red, and was planning to launch it.

Ashkelon residents gathered round to cheer him on and protest the government's conduct, but at the eleventh hour, police stopped him from firing the missile and seized it.

"I wish there were more 'crazies' like me in Israel," Nissimpor said as the crowd was dispersed by the police.

This one "crazy" man has more courage than the whole of the Knesset, excluding the Arab members of course which are willing to fight to destroy Israel. If only the Jewish members of Knesset had the courage of either the Arab members of Knesset or this one "crazy" guy.

Arab MKs Lead Rock-Throwing Demo Against 'ZioNazis'
28 Adar 5768, 05 March 08 04:39
by Gil Ronen

(IsraelNN.com) Several thousand Arabs led by Arab nationalist Knesset members participated in a procession through the Israeli city of Umm el-Fahm near Megiddo Tuesday evening. The demonstration was held in protest of Israeli military operations in Gaza and involved incidents of rock throwing at Israeli cars.

The crowd chanted "Israel, the mother of terror" and held a sign that read "Stop the Zionazi" in English. Additional slogans were "Rest, O martyr, we will complete the task," "Warm blessings to the rock children," as well as the standard "With blood and spirit, we will redeem Palestine." The participants held Syrian and PLO flags. Some of them covered their faces with keffiyehs, or traditional headdresses, in the manner of terrorist thugs.

Arab Knesset members from several factions spoke to the crowd and reviled Israel for what they called "the massacre in Gaza." The speakers also justified the rocket fire on Israel and insisted it was a reaction to Israeli actions.

Umm el-Fahm Mayor Sheikh Abd-el Rachman demanded that Mahmoud Abbas, chairman of the PA , and Ismail Haniyeh, the Hamas leader in Gaza, stop fighting and join hands. He said that "resistance" (a code word for armed attacks) should continue alongside peace talks.

Towards the end of the rally, Arab youths threw rocks at passing Israeli vehicles on Highway 65. Police arrested two suspects.

No one was hurt in the rock-throwing incidents and no damage was caused..

An Arab source told Haaretz newspaper that the organizers had expected more people to take part in procession. "I would have expected twice as many people," he said. "Perhaps we have lost the momentum."

Arab MKs enjoy full rights as legislators yet regularly denounce Israel and side with its enemies. A former Knesset Member, Azni Bishara, fled from Israel after the intelligence services discovered he had held apparently treasonous contacts with Hizbullah during the Second Lebanon War. MK Ahmed Tibi is Deputy Speaker of the Knesset and has a large poster of PLO founder and terror master Yasser Arafat on the wall of his knesset office.

I again call on the government of Israel to grow up and do the correct thing, which is to rid the Knesset of these traitors. I don't care if we remove them from office and put them in prison for life or if we just kill them for being traitors. I was wrong I do care which of the options we use.

But for sure these traitors cn not stay in the Knesset.

Rice: Peace deal possible in 2008

'I still believe peace agreement between Israel, PA possible this year,' US Secretary of state tells reporters in Ramallah. Abbas calls on Jewish state to 'halt its aggression so the necessary environment can be created to make negotiations succeed'

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice urged Israel and the Palestinians on Tuesday to resume suspended peace negotiations and said she believed a deal was was still possible by the end of the year.

Speaking at a news conference after meeting Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank city of Ramallah, she gave no indication, however, that she had secured his agreement to return to talks.

How can Rice not see that, Israel is rocketed every day from Gaza, that terrorism can breakout in Judea and Samaria at the drop of a hat and that their were violent riots all this week.

Sure of course a peace deal can be reached in the next 9 months, and I could win the lottery. I think I have a better chance of winning the lottery.

Shoot First

Arab 'Third Intifada' Underway?
27 Adar 5768, 04 March 08 02:00
by Nissan Ratzlav-Katz

(IsraelNN.com) A near-lynch by an Arab mob in Jerusalem ended without casualties on Monday, as rioters confronted soldiers in several locales. Arab students at Israeli universities held pro-Palestinian Authority demonstrations, as well.

Rioting, rock-throwing and firebomb attacks by Arab mobs were reported in several locations in municipal Jerusalem during the day. In one instance, two municipal workers escaped a lynch mob on Salah A-Din Street, a main road in the eastern part of the capital. On Monday night, they described the event to Mayor Uri Lupolianski.

Inspectors Ephraim Moshe and Chaya Eliyahu said they were driving down the street when they realized the road was blocked by flaming dumpsters. They were forced to stop and their vehicle was then attacked by dozens of Arab men, who hurled rocks through the windows and hit the sides of the car with metal rods. The two managed to escape after driving onto the sidewalk.

Eliyahu said that had they been able to, the Arab attackers "would have lynched us, not just the car."

"There's nothing to do about it," said Moshe, "because of what's happening in Gaza, it's easiest for them to take it out on us." He called on Jerusalem's Jews not to give in and to continue to travel in all parts of the city.

Mayor Lupolianski said the incident was quite serious and he called on police to catch the perpetrators as quickly as possible. "The municipality will not give in, but rather will continue to enforce the law and to provide service to all residents of the city - Arabs and Jews," he said.

In other incidents, Arab rioters attacked Border Police officers with rocks on Monday night in the village of Kalandia, north of Jerusalem. Police responded by firing at attackers' legs, hitting one of the men. The injured rioter's condition is not known.

Near the village of El-Aroub, between Hevron and Gush Etzion, attackers threw Molotov cocktails at an Israeli car. No one was hurt in the incident. An Arab rock-thrower was shot in the same area earlier in the day by an IDF soldier. The wounded man was part of a mob that stood aside the Tunnels Highway and stoned cars, lightly injuring an Israeli citizen.

In other incidents, an IDF officer was lightly wounded during a violent Arab riot outside Kalkilye, east of Kfar Saba. The officer was evacuated to a Jerusalem hospital. Arabs also stoned a car west of Ramallah around noontime Monday, causing damage but no injuries.

Residents of the PA-controlled city of Ramallah held a large demonstration in support of Fatah, of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and against the Israeli military operations in Gaza.

The Rioting and Attacks are Not Spontaneous
Israeli security sources say that the riots are not a spontaneous outpouring of rage over the events in Gaza, as they are often portrayed. Rather, the sources say, the unrest is organized and incited by those elements interested in "heating up" the Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria regions. Those behind the incitement are attempting to spark what some sources say may be a "third Intifada."

Alongside the violent riots and confrontations, relatively peaceful demonstrations were held by Arab students on the campuses of Haifa University and Jerusalem's Hebrew University. The students waved PLO flags and held signs condemning what they called Israeli "atrocities" in counter-terrorism operations against rocket-launching teams in Gaza. A smaller counter-demonstration of Israeli patriots was also held at Hebrew University, with students waving the national flag. A noticeable police presence kept the noisy demonstrators separated across a main thoroughfare at the school.

It would very simple to put an end to this.

The Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Security, Chief of Police and the Attorney General, hold a press conference and announce that stone throwing individuals can and may be shot. That deadly force is an approved response and civilians, police and soldiers must protect themselves.

Their would be several people shot the first few hours and then the rioting would stop.

'Hamas using US weapons against IDF'

'Hamas using US weapons against IDF' Khaled Abu Toameh , THE JERUSALEM POST Mar. 3, 2008

According to Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip, most of the gunmen who have been fighting the IDF over the past few days are members of Hamas's armed wing, Izaddin Kassam.

"At least 2,000 Hamas gunmen have been deployed in the northern Gaza Strip to take part in the fighting," the sources told The Jerusalem Post.

The sources estimated that Izaddin Kassam has at least 15,000 members divided into four brigades in the Gaza Strip.

They added that the Hamas gunmen were using many American-made arms seized from the Fatah-controlled Palestinian Authority security forces in June.

Hamas says it captured thousands of M-16 and Kalashnikov rifles, and large supplies of ammunition during its weeklong conquest of Gaza. Hamas is also believed to have acquired weapons capable of penetrating armor and stockpiles of rocket-propelled grenades.

A senior Hamas official said Sunday that his movement had smuggled hundreds of rockets and mortars and tons of explosives into the Gaza Strip from Egypt in the past few months.

The Hamas-dominated police force in the Gaza Strip, which has around 15,000 members, has not been involved in the fighting, although the IDF has targeted some of its bases.

Hamas has been careful not to send the police force to the battlefield so as to avoid a total breakdown of its official institutions. The policemen are needed by Hamas to maintain law and order and to thwart any attempt by rival groups such as Fatah from taking advantage of the security deterioration to topple the Hamas government.

Other groups that are involved in the fighting include Islamic Jihad, the Popular Resistance Committees and some splinter factions belonging to Fatah's armed wing, the Aksa Martyrs Brigades.

These three groups, which according to Palestinian sources are operating in coordination with Hamas, have also been behind many of the rocket attacks on Israel in the past few days. Altogether, the three groups have fewer than 1,500 gunmen in Gaza.

But Hamas has sought to play down the role of the other armed groups in the fighting in the hope that it will score points on the "Palestinian street" as the major force that fought "courageously" against Israel. Hamas is hoping that once the fighting is over, it will be able to declare "victory, as Hizbullah did after the war in 2006."

This just once again highlights how stupid the American policy is when it comes to the Palestinians.

Does it really matter if the Palestinians are shooting at the IDF with M16 rifles or AK47's maybe not, when we look at the fighting on the street level. But does it matter in principle that the enemies of Israel are using weapons made in the USA, yes it does.

Many Questions

Ramon: Why aren't we firing back Vice Premier Haim Ramon wants IDF to shoot back at launch sites even if they are located in civilian areas, says measure was approved during Lebanon War; justice minister to look into matter Roni Sofer

Justice Minister Daniel Friedmann will look into the legality of Israeli counter-fire on Palestinian targets located in the heart of population centers used as rocket launching sites.

Friedmann will be examining the issue after Vice Premier Haim Ramon called to fire back on Palestinian rocket launchers even if they are located in civilian zones.

Speaking at Sunday morning's government session, Ramon said: "Why don't we shoot at the sources of the fire? According to international law, we are allowed to do it. The issue was legally examined during the Second Lebanon War and the conclusion was that if they fire from a village, we are allowed to fire back even if this is a populated area."

During Sunday's government session, the ministers raised ideas about how to cope with the Gaza escalation, ahead of a meeting on the issue attended by three senior officials - Prime Minister Olmert, Foreign Minister Livni, and Defense Minister Barak – as well as senior security officials.

West Bank clashes

Meanwhile, security forces in the West Bank clashed with Palestinians after solidarity rallies with Gaza deteriorated into violent clashes, as thousands of people took to the streets to protest Israel's actions.

One of the biggest rallies was held in Nablus, where more than 4,000 Palestinians protested at the town's main square. Meanwhile, a 13-year-old teen, Mahmoud al-Masalmeh, was shot and killed by soldiers during clashes in the village of Beit Awa near Hebron, local sources reported. Another 40 people were wounded, two of them critically.

Their are many questions why aren't we firing back, why haven't we invaded Gaza with a large force, and lastly why haven't we just made up our minds that we need to take Gaza back once and for all.
