(IsraelNN.com) US President George W Bush announced that he would use the remaining time for his Presidency to command to further the peace process between Israelis and Arabs, including support by the building of an Arab state. At least six months are left until the end of Bush's second term in office.

Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice also noted that she would work towards the formation of a Arab state, but that such a state would be dependent on the nature of its democratic institutions for its success.
