Reservists Ask Not to be Bargained For



(IsraelNN.com) IDF reserve soldiers and officers have published a declaration calling on the government to refrain from releasing terrorists to gain their freedom if they become MIAs.

"If we are captured by the enemy, we ask that the state of Israel does not release many hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in exchange for our freedom," the soldiers' letter to the IDF Chief of Staff read, accoting to Channel 2 TV. "[We are] ready to sit in an enemy prison for as long as it takes" the soldiers wrote, asking that no negotiations whatsoever be held for their remains.

The soldiers are among the first slated to be sent into Gaza as part of any ground operation.
