CAIRO (AFP) - Egypt has banned a book by a British journalist about Egyptian
politics and society entitled "Inside Egypt: The Land of the Pharaohs on the
Brink of a Revolution", the author told AFP on 23 July. "According to my
publisher, The American University in Cairo bookstore ordered 50 copies of
"Inside Egypt" a few days ago, only to cancel the order a few hours later
after being informed by Egyptian government censors that the book is banned
in Egypt," John R. Bradley told AFP. The book's New York-based publishers
Palgrave Macmillan confirmed the book had been banned in Egypt. The book
"examines the junctions of Egyptian politics and society as they slowly
disintegrate under the twin pressures of a ruthless military dictatorship at
home and a flawed Middle East policy in Washington," the publishers said in
a statement. It was not possible to get any official confirmation of the ban
because Wednesday is a public holiday in Egypt.
This is the perfect example of why we must never negotiate with Arabs, Camp David Peace Accords with Egypt.
We would not have fought a war with Egypt if we still had the Sinai and we never had made "peace" with Egypt.
The government controlled press in Egypt runs anti Israeli editorials and cartoons every day that are the equal of those of the Nazi's.
Without the Camp David Accords in place Egypt would;d still be in T62 tanks like Iraq and Syria and worn out MIG fighters. Today Egypt has Abrahams tans and F16 fighter planes from America, due to the agreement.
It doesn't take a military genus to know the IDF if it had to fight a war against Egypt would rather do it against old worthless Soviet hardware than against state of the art American equipment.
So the radical Muslims take over Egypt and Israel will now have to fight against a better equipped Egyptian military how many men will die due to the stupidity of Israeli leaders long since dead of natural causes.
