(IsraelNN.com) Rioters at Naalin and Bilin met the "Skunk" Friday: a device developed by the Technologies Administration and Israel police which sprays an extra-smelly substance on its targets.

The Skunk was developed as part of efforts to come up with means of riot dispersal that do not cause death or permanent injury.

Border Police sources say they were pleased with the results of the Skunk's first performance Friday. Rioters said that on Sunday, too, they sensed a stench in the air, which they described as being similar to sewage, and which does not come off even after a shower.
