Former Mossad director Efraim Halevy: Egypt not threat - but preparing for
war with Israel
Dr. Aaron Lerner Date: 2 November 2008

In a live interview broadcast on Israel Radio this morning, former Mossad
director Efraim Halevy explained that Egypt is not a threat to Israel
because Egyptian President Mubarak considers its peace treaty with Israel to
be of strategic value and it can be expected that whoever replaces him in
the future will take the same position.

Halevy defended activities by the Egyptian army in preparation for war
against Israel, arguing that it is reasonable for Egypt to prepare for the
possibility that Israel might attack Egypt just as Israel also takes into
account the possibility of an Egyptian attack against Israel.

The organization Halevy headed, the Mossad, is an Israeli security service
and not part of the UN.

I am sorry I don't buy it.

Is America making preparations for going to war against Canada, no they are not.

Why because since 1812 we have had peace with Canada, and no American or Canadian even thinks of war between the two countries.

Unlike Egypt where many in leadership and the general population dream of war that will result in the destruction of Israel.
