FM Livni was apartment sitter in Paris for the Mossad

Dr. Aaron Lerner Date: 22 July 2008 [Redistributed on 30 January 2009 when
Kadima campaign broadcast featured that she "served in the Mossad"].

Israel Television correspondent Ayala Chason revealed this evening on the
Mabat Television News program that FM Tzipi Livni served as an apartment
sitter in Paris for the Mossad. Chason explained that it is standard
procedure for people to live in apartments used by the Mossad overseas so
that they have normal use (electricity, etc.) and thus don't get attention.

Chason noted that Livni took a Mossad course towards the end of her service
to become an agent, but she opted out of the course at the very end of it in
order to marry and then left the Mossad.

Chason observed that while she could not definitively say that Livni never
acted as an agent while in Paris that this would be in contravention of the
Mossad operating procedures that requires people to first complete the
course.
