(IsraelNN.com) Public security Minister Avi Dichter told the cabinet Sunday that Hamas had smuggled anti-aircraft missiles into Gaza over the last few days. He also complained that Egypt has not acted to prevent weapons smuggling by Hamas.

One of Israel’s goals in Operation Cast Lead was to prevent weapons smuggling into Gaza. The government choose to end the war, however, without any clear change in the status quo by which Hamas freely smuggles weapons into Gaza.
