Arab MK: We Won’t Recognize Jewish Israel

(IsraelNN.com) Arab Knesset member Ahmed Tibi said on Wednesday that "we won't recognize a Jewish and Zionist Israel despite [MK Zevulun] Orlev's law, even if we pay a personal price." His comments came in response to a bill proposed by Orlev which would mandate jail time for anyone calling for the end of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.
"This coalition will end up proposing the Bill Against Being Shocked by the Occupation, which will carry a prison term of five years for anyone who expresses such shock," Tibi said.
