The Israel Security Agency published data about terror attacks against
Israel during the month June

The Israel Security Agency monthly report highlights that 62 terrorist
attacks were recorded during the month of June, close to the number of
terrorist attacks recorded in May (63). Further data provided in the report
includes the fact that there was a drop in attacks in Jerusalem with 7
attacks this month as opposed to 14 attacks in May and an increase in
attacks in the Gaza Strip, with 34 attacks this month up from 32 last month,
and in the Judea and Samaria region, with 21 attacks this month as opposed
to 17 attacks in the previous month.

During the month of June, an Israeli policeman was killed and 2 other
policemen were injured in a shooting attack performed on the 14th of June
while the policemen were driving in their patrol vehicle south of Mount
Hebron. In addition, two soldiers from the Border Patrol Brigade were
injured on the 11th of June by a car that tried to run them over in
Jerusalem. This compares to the 6 people injured during the month of May
2010 (2 civilians and 4 security forces personnel) in shooting attacks in
the Judea and Samaria region, and near the border of the Gaza Strip, and by Molotov-cocktails attacks in Jerusalem.

During the last month, 14 rockets and 17 mortar shells were fired at Israel,
resulting in 22 hits. This compares to the 14 rockets and 7 mortar shells
fired during the month of May, resulting in 17 hits.
