Israeli's Against Freeze

Telephone poll of a representative sample of adult Israelis (including Arab
Israelis) carried out by Dahaf for Channel Two TV on Tuesday 28 September in
the middle of a major Jewish holiday (Succoth) when many Israeli were not
home and broadcast today:

Should Israel agree to extend the freeze? Yes 39% No 54%
[Dahaf head Mina Tzemach noted that the poll was carried out before news of
American "goodies" in return for the extension of the freeze. On the other
hand, she did not mention possible problems with the poll as a result of it
having been carried out in the middle of a major holiday.].
