MK Anastassia Michaeli (Yisrael Beitenu) has been barred from the Knesset for a month after she splashed a glass of water at MK Raleb Majadale (Labor) during a hearing of the Education Committee on Monday.

Following the incident, Knesset Chairman Reuven Rivlin registered a complaint with the Knesset Ethics Committee, which decided on Tuesday to bar Michaeli for a month. Michaeli ultimately apologized to the committee.

"This is an act that undermines the entire Knesset and we cannot let it pass," Rivlin said. Labor Chairwoman MK Shelly Yachimovich also filed a complaint with the Ethics Committee. "This is violence pure and simple, outright criminal violence that we cannot abide in a dignified and official place like the Israeli Knesset," she said.

Michaeli's party, Yisrael Beitenu, also criticized her conduct, saying, "There are no circumstances that justify such behavior. We demand that all Knesset employees, particularly legislators, act in a way that respects the Knesset and refrain from any deed that does not befit parliamentarians."

Yisrael Beitenu insiders say this incident likely spells the end of Michaeli's political career. Party Chairman and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman lambasted Michaeli on Monday, calling her behavior unacceptable. At the same time, Yisrael Beitenu condemned what it called the insulting remarks by Majadale that preceded Michaeli’s actions.

Michaeli remained worked up for the remainder of the day and speculated that Lieberman would try to shut her out of the party in the next elections.

On Monday night Michaeli sent a letter of apology to the Ethics Committee. "Such conduct has no place in the Knesset," she wrote, but stressed that her apology was meant only for the Ethics Committee and not for Majadale himself. She did not attend the committee's hearing Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred at an Education Committee hearing over the participation by Israeli Arab students from the town of Arara in a human rights march in Tel Aviv in December.

While Majadle was speaking, Michaeli shouted at him, "You were marching against the state, you were inciting." Majadle shouted back, "Shut up," and addressing committee chairman Alex Miller (Yisrael Beitenu), said, "This one from your party, shut her up."

Michaeli then approached Majadle, poured a glass of water and threw its contents into his stunned face. Later, she said, "He insulted me as a woman and called me a fascist." Majadle responded, "I did not say anything disparaging to her."

The Knesset is mentally ill.

MK Zoabi has physically assault an usher stomping on the foot of the usher and pushing them.

She got one day suspension.

MK Zoabi was on the flotilla, an act of treason, where IDF soldiers were assaulted that resulted in stab wounds and head trauma that were life threatening. As a result the IDF soldiers were forced to open fire ,resulting in the deaths of 9 terrorist.

In a normal country Zoabi would be charged ,with treason and 9 counts of murder. She may even be given the death penalty.

She was not even charged.

So what are we to think of these incidents.

That if you are an Arab in the Knesset you can get away with murder and assault.

But if you are a Jew, we will ruin you if you loose your cool and pour water on someone's head that is a traitor.

What a bunch of misguided idiots.
